Jan Boubín

I help students and the wider public understand economic developments and the impact of economic policy

Jan Boubín heads the Centre for Academic Studies at NEWTON University, which oversees key academic milestones, including student placements, final theses and state final examinations. He also teaches microeconomics, macroeconomics and financial markets at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. His research focuses primarily on the effectiveness of economic policy and the economic value of open data. As an economist, he regularly provides media commentary on current economic affairs and public policy. He is an ideal expert to comment on the Czech economy, inflation, interest rates, public finances, financial markets, economic policy and economics education.
