NEWTON University & Gorilla Gym: Train Right Next to Campus

Studies, networking, and now a place to blow off steam. NEWTON University has partnered with Gorilla Gym Prague (Entrance No. 8), a space focused on MMA, functional training and conditioning. Thanks to this partnership, NEWTON University students and staff can benefit from discounted entry and services.

Leadership is not about words, but about actions. You can talk about it endlessly, teach it in lectures and rehearse it in model situations. But its true nature only reveals itself in the moment when a person must take responsibility and act.

Ondřej Průcha, our lecturer and CEO of Svoboda & Průcha, is an example of such a leader. Together with him, we are organising a fundraiser to purchase an ambulance for frontline areas in Ukraine. This ambulance will not sit idle in a garage – it will be deployed where every minute decides between life and death. Join us in turning responsibility into real help.

We have moved the Brno campus of NEWTON University and Vysoká škola STING. From the new academic year 2025/2026 you will find us in the Machova Building in the Technology Park. Prokrastinace: Proč odkládáte věci a jak s tím přestat

Je půlnoc. Sedíte u stolu, kafe už dávno vystydlo, skripta leží otevřená přesně tam, kde ležela před třemi hodinami. Během té doby jste stihli uklidit pracovní plochu, odpovědět na zprávy, projít sociální sítě a možná taky 2 díly seriálu na Netflixu. Podle statistik prokrastinuje až 95 % vysokoškolských studentů, což z odkládání povinností dělá téměř univerzální studentský problém. Prokrastinace není jen neškodné lenošení. Jde o komplexní psychologický mechanismus, který může výrazně ovlivnit vaši produktivitu, výkon i psychickou pohodu. Pojďte se podívat na to, co způsobuje prokrastinaci, jak se projevuje a jak s ní pracovat tak, aby vás dlouhodobě neničila.

Jak se díky vnitřní a vnější motivaci lépe učit

Znáte to. Zkouškové běží, testy se blíží, hlava ví, že by se měla učit, ale ruce automaticky sahají po mobilu. V tu chvíli nehraje hlavní roli ani tak „síla vůle“, ale to, jak funguje vaše vnitřní a vnější motivace. Když pochopíte, co pohání váš mozek k učení a co ho naopak brzdí, přestane být studium nekonečným bojem a začne být zvládnutelným projektem.

Daně, účetnictví a praxe: Proč studovat Vysokou školu Sting?

Rozdíl mezi absolventem, který obtížně hledá uplatnění, a tím, o koho se firmy přetahují, není v titulu. Je ve schopnosti přemýšlet v souvislostech a ve využívání získaných zkušeností, které studentům Vysoké školy Sting předávají jak daňoví poradci, účetní a auditoři, tak i zástupci finanční správy.
