AACSB Information Session
NEWTON University will host a Formal Information Session organized by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), one of the most prestigious and widely recognized accreditation institutions in the field of business and management education worldwide. The event is designed as a structured, official information seminar and is intended for higher education institutions and their representatives who are interested in AACSB accreditation or wish to update their knowledge of current requirements and the accreditation process. The primary target audience includes university and faculty leadership, accreditation coordinators, administrative and strategic teams, academic leaders, and program directors.
The seminar will be led by representatives of AACSB and the host institution, including Dr. Anna Plechatá Krausová, Dr. Audrey Milton, Regional Head of Europe, Brian Riddleberger, EMEA Member Engagement Manager, and Jesus Valverdecarnerero, Member Engagement Manager. Additional speakers will be confirmed at a later stage. During the session, participants will be introduced to key information about AACSB’s mission, its quality standards, and the ways in which accreditation contributes to enhancing the quality of teaching, research, and strategic management at institutions. Founded in 1916 in the United States, AACSB is headquartered in Tampa, Florida, and operates as an international non-profit organization with a global reach. Today, it connects and accredits more than 900 schools in over 100 countries, and its accreditation is widely regarded as an international hallmark of quality in business education.
