Many current specialists, managers, and executives work daily with marketing tools or develop specific business strategies, yet they often lack a solid foundation in marketing. These fundamentals are essential for understanding the interconnectedness of marketing and the business environment, and for thinking about an organisation in a broader context. The ability to connect marketing theory with practice is therefore one of the key skills we focus on intensively with our students in the relevant subjects.

I chose this field because it combines creativity with practical skills – and that’s exactly what I enjoy. NEWTON attracted me not only with its study programmes but also with its individual approach and recommendations from friends. And I don’t regret it – I’m learning from professionals in practice, and it truly makes sense to me. Thanks to the flexible timetable, I can also manage my job. At the moment, I work in HR, but I would like to move into marketing soon, because that’s where I see my future. In my free time, I enjoy working out and deepening my knowledge – I’m currently attending a course at Ogilvy, one of the biggest marketing agencies. They select only 10 students for the course, and I’m proud to be one of them.

Originally, I wanted to study Innovative Entrepreneurship at ČZU. I was looking for a programme with plenty of practical experience, where I could actually create something during my studies. Luckily, things didn’t work out at ČZU, and on a friend’s recommendation, I chose NEWTON instead. He convinced me with the amazing approach of the lecturers, who are not afraid to say things as they really are. At the same time, I didn’t spend that much time at school, as I was often at training sessions or various events where I tried to gain some know-how. That’s exactly what makes NEWTON outstanding. Besides gaining a lot of practical knowledge, you also have plenty of time you can use effectively.
