Scientia et Societas is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by NEWTON University since December 2005.
It is issued quarterly and focuses on original research and review articles in the fields of:
The journal aims to publish original scientific knowledge in the social and economic sciences, provide a platform for the dissemination of research project results, and inform the academic community about current events such as conferences and book reviews. It fosters scientific debate on timely topics and brings research findings to a wider professional audience.
The core content includes original research papers and literature reviews. Additional sections feature book reviews, expert commentaries, reports, and interviews.
As of 1 January 2015, the journal is included in the updated List of Peer-Reviewed Non-Impact Factor Journals published in the Czech Republic.
Since 21 July 2015, it has also been indexed in ERIH PLUS (European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences).
