Study options
Professional focus Management and Entrepreneurship is part of the programme Economics and Management and falls under the specialization Global Business and Management and focuses on organizational management, entrepreneurial thinking, and practical managerial skills applicable across industries. It can be studied on-campus or in a blended form.

Applications
We accept applications until the end of September. After this date, applications are assessed individually based on the available capacity of each specialization.
What your studies look like
The programme lasts 6 semesters and includes a compulsory internship. From the summer semester of the 2nd year, there is less classroom teaching as students focus on their placements, and in the 3rd year on writing their final thesis and preparing for the state final examinations.
The programme can also be completed in a blended format, delivered over 6 selected weekends per semester in Prague, Brno and Bratislava. This flexible mode of study preserves the full curriculum, and attendance at individual sessions is not a requirement for academic success. The teaching also reflects specific corporate and professional needs from practice.
What you’ll learn
Within the Management and Entrepreneurship specialisation, you will acquire comprehensive knowledge and skills for running companies as well as developing your own business. You will master the principles of economics, law and financial management to support strategic planning and effective decision-making.
You will learn to work with data, analyse markets and navigate the international business environment. Emphasis is also placed on leadership, communication and people management.
You will learn, for example:
- Acquire key managerial skills for effective company and project management
- Learn how to develop your own business, identify opportunities and minimise risks
- Gain an in-depth understanding of corporate economics, accounting and financial planning
