In addition to its current activities, NEWTON University has also successfully completed a number of projects in recent years. These projects were carried out in cooperation with universities and research institutions from around the world and have become an important foundation for our current and future activities. The PASS project (Project for Assessment and Support of Key Skills/Competences) responded to the accelerated technological development and changes in the automotive industry, which have significantly increased the demand for so-called key competences – especially soft, transferable skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and adaptability.
The aLIFEca project (Virtual Open Course of Automotive Life Cycle Assessment) responded to the need to raise university students’ awareness of the environmental impacts of the automotive industry through teaching the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method.
The MUDIPLAT project (Multidimensional Diagnostic Platform and Methodology for Supporting the Development of Individuals’ Natural Potentials) focused on the development of so-called “Subtle Skills” – fine, natural abilities that cannot be acquired through traditional education but are essential for personal growth and effective decision-making.
