First of all, we want to say thank you on behalf of the NBA programme. The level of support and encouragement we received – both from the core team and all the mentors – was incredible. We also really appreciated their honesty when helping us identify areas for improvement. Thanks to all of you, we’ve been able to see our project from a fresh perspective and take major steps toward making it more professional, especially in marketing, PR and project management. We’ll continue to benefit from the workshops for a long time – for example, we gained clarity on financial planning and realised just how much work it takes to prepare a project for investors. This was such a meaningful and valuable experience for us that we would truly recommend it to anyone who is starting or growing their business. Best of luck to the future cohorts!

Originally, I wanted to study Innovative Entrepreneurship at ČZU. I was looking for a programme with plenty of practical experience, where I could actually create something during my studies. Luckily, things didn’t work out at ČZU, and on a friend’s recommendation, I chose NEWTON instead. He convinced me with the amazing approach of the lecturers, who are not afraid to say things as they really are. At the same time, I didn’t spend that much time at school, as I was often at training sessions or various events where I tried to gain some know-how. That’s exactly what makes NEWTON outstanding. Besides gaining a lot of practical knowledge, you also have plenty of time you can use effectively.

At NEWTON, I met many amazing people (both students and teachers), learned a lot of new things, and also grew personally. I chose NEWTON because I can learn from experienced professionals, and I already knew students who had studied here and spoke highly of the school.

Asmat Ahmadzai
I chose NEWTON because I liked its practical, hands-on teaching style and the opportunity to study in an international and diverse community. It seemed like the perfect place to connect with people from all over the world and gain real-world experience, rather than just theory. The GBM programme has genuinely helped me grow, both personally and professionally. I feel much more confident working in groups, my communication and teamwork skills have improved a lot, and I have developed a clearer understanding of how businesses actually work.

I chose NEWTON mainly because of its approach. I work in marketing, both for companies and independently, and I wanted to continue in this field and improve myself. Other schools would not have given me so much space for self-realisation. NEWTON has mainly given me valuable contacts and introduced me to people whose life priorities are similar to mine.

From the very beginning, I felt great at NU. I knew this environment was the right place for me. At NEWTON, I rediscovered my strengths and self-confidence, and I am appreciated for every part of what makes me different. For example, my creativity—since I have just published my first book, and NEWTON has been a key bridge to reaching my first readers.

I am very satisfied with my studies at NEWTON University. When I was choosing a university, NU appealed to me mainly because of its strong focus on practice, which was particularly important to me, as I wanted to support and later work in our family business during my studies. In the specialisation Management and Entrepreneurship, the university guided me through various areas of business, where I worked on many projects related to our company – both individually and in groups. For me, the greatest benefit was developing the ability to work effectively in a team.

I value my studies at NEWTON University very highly. The school provided me not only with in-depth theoretical knowledge, but also with practical skills and tools that I could immediately apply in real-life situations. The interdisciplinary approach and the emphasis on connecting theory with practice prepared me for complex and demanding tasks in the field of leadership and management. The support from lecturers and access to a wide range of resources and literature enabled me to carry out thorough and high-quality research, which was also reflected in my thesis. I am grateful for the opportunities that studying at NEWTON University has given me and I believe this experience will help me succeed in my professional career.

As both a person and a coach, I see my own education and self-development as the foundation of my identity. In pursuing my further growth, NEWTON University was my preferred choice. The MSc in Mental Coaching in Sport and Business appealed to me not only because it is led by respected experts in the field, but also because of its content. During my studies, I gained a wide range of practical and theoretical approaches that I can apply and further develop in my coaching practice. I see this as a strong benefit for both my clients and my professional work. I also appreciate the pleasant and friendly environment that NU offers, which I believe contributed to the smooth and enjoyable progress of my studies, culminating in the successful defence of my final thesis. I would happily study at NEWTON University again.

As a manager with many years of experience in international companies, I originally joined NEWTON University mainly for the degree and to place my practical experience within a theoretical framework. However, during my studies, I discovered it gave me much more. Studying at NEWTON was a great experience for me. I truly enjoyed my follow-on Master’s degree here, especially as I could compare it with my Bachelor’s studies at a state university. Both types of schools have their strengths, but what impressed me most at NEWTON was the attitude of the lecturers – they treat you as an equal partner, which is incredibly refreshing. The teaching is very practical, which I enjoyed the most. Most lecturers come directly from the industry, so the lectures aren’t just theory disconnected from reality, but content that truly makes sense. Most importantly, they are passionate about what they do – and you can feel it. Especially in marketing, it’s great that the university keeps pace with current trends and developments in the field.

Studying at NEWTON was not only about gaining expert knowledge, but above all about personal growth. During my studies at NEWTON University, I founded my own brand and greatly appreciated being able to apply what I was learning straight into practice. I valued the approach of the lecturers, who drew on their own real business experience. This made the theory much easier to grasp and transfer into practice – not only during my studies, but also for the future. Overall, I cannot praise enough the attitude of everyone at NEWTON – from professors to the student services team. The support students receive here is truly above standard.

The connection between theory and practice enabled me to grow both professionally and personally, and by the time I graduated, I already had five years of industry experience. The school also encouraged an entrepreneurial mindset and a comprehensive view of business, which has given me greater confidence in my professional decision-making today.

Studying the Psychology for Managers specialization at NEWTON University was, for me, not only about gaining valuable knowledge, but also an intensive lesson in balancing work, study, and life — and a chance to step out of my comfort zone. Three years full of AHA moments (and even more questions) proved to me that it was all worth it. I learned to better understand myself and others, to challenge established patterns of thinking, and to handle stress with more perspective. The program opened up new professional and personal horizons, and I’m excited to keep building on them in the MBA program.

Many current specialists, managers, and executives work daily with marketing tools or develop specific business strategies, yet they often lack a solid foundation in marketing. These fundamentals are essential for understanding the interconnectedness of marketing and the business environment, and for thinking about an organisation in a broader context. The ability to connect marketing theory with practice is therefore one of the key skills we focus on intensively with our students in the relevant subjects.

Facility Management is a field of the future and, at the same time, true management in the broadest sense of the word. It teaches us to manage complex systems, to coordinate technologies, people, and processes so that buildings and spaces operate efficiently, sustainably, and safely. You don’t become just an administrator but a strategic leader of an environment that influences quality of life, organisational performance, and the planet itself. This is a field for those who want to stay in control, make decisions, drive change, and create environments where both human and technological potential can flourish. Facility Management is the way to manage the world we live in—with vision and responsibility.

Psychology for Managers develops both the hard skills needed for effective people management and the soft skills that modern leaders cannot do without. The program is practically oriented, allowing students to master tools and approaches they can immediately apply in their professional lives. This specialization connects the world of people with results: it’s not just about team leadership methods or conflict management, but about a deeper understanding of how people think, what motivates them, and what helps them perform at their best. Students gain insight into decision-making processes and learn how to manage stress and prevent burnout. The program is a path to becoming a leader who not only achieves goals but also gives work deeper meaning and contributes to a healthier corporate culture.

Effort and hard work are valued in the NBA, the mentors notice it, and if you are motivated to achieve something and show gratitude, you will receive the right support from them. To begin with, we would like to thank the NBA programme. The support and encouragement we received from both the core team and all the mentors were truly exceptional. We greatly appreciate their honesty and willingness to help us find ways to improve. Thanks to this, we were able to look at our project from a new perspective and over the past months make significant progress in its professionalisation, especially in the areas of marketing, PR and project management. The workshops were also a major benefit, helping us clarify issues such as financial planning and the amount of work needed to prepare the project for an investor. For us, it was such a valuable and enriching experience that we would wish it for anyone starting or developing their business.

I had always wanted to study clinical psychology, and I honestly came to NEWTON University thinking I would just fill in my gap year here and then reapply to my dream school the following year. But as it usually happens, my plan did not work out. The approach of the lecturers, who know how to listen to different opinions, the atmosphere that motivates you to grow, and everything that NEWTON offers on top of that convinced me to continue my studies here. And now I know I could not have made a better choice.

Dominik Souček - ESM
For over eight years, I’ve been sewing and working with materials – from fabrics and faux leather to cowhide, which is now my primary medium. For me, sustainability means using materials with a long lifespan. Genuine leather has properties that allow it to outlast synthetic alternatives by many years. NEWTON opened the door for me to gain a deeper understanding of sustainability across other areas of business too – from waste management to eco-design and circular production principles.

Dominik Souček

NEWTON University graduate and founder of the brand Saint Domi

Jessica Niederlová - ESM
Sustainability is a very important topic for me, both in my personal life and in business. It’s a value that has been instilled in me since childhood, and now I have the opportunity to put it into practice. Studying at NEWTON University has reinforced my belief that I’m on the right path in this regard and has allowed me to explore the topic in greater depth. I believe that if a manager is sufficiently creative and truly values sustainability, they can bring about improvements in any field.

Jessica Niederlová

NEWTON University graduate and CMO at MUFFIK

Anna Bašková - ESM
For me, sustainability represents a conscious and long-term approach to life that considers people, the planet, and the future. In my thesis at NEWTON University, I focus on the issue of overconsumption in fashion and explore how marketing can influence consumer behaviour. My studies have allowed me to delve deeper into the topic, think critically about it, and connect my personal values with professional knowledge. Sustainability is not a destination, but a journey – and it’s one I strive to follow. Thoughtfully, respectfully, and with a desire to seek new ways of linking it to practice.
