Through Obstacles to the Stars: On Mental Health, Openness, and Respect

NEWTON Book Club is a series of regular book-centered gatherings that inspire reflection, dialogue, and personal growth. Each meeting focuses on a different book and a different author, creating space for open discussion, sharing perspectives, and informal networking within the academic and student community.

At this edition, we will welcome Kamila Paličková – a Czech author, entrepreneur, and mentor behind international projects. Her book connects authentic stories of 36 women from around the world and shows how life’s challenges can be overcome, inner strength discovered, and shared human values found across cultures. Kamila has long focused on themes of authenticity, personal transformation, and mental health, and her work resonates with those seeking deeper meaning in both their professional and personal lives.

FREE OF CHARGE Registration is required for the event.
