The NEWTON Business Accelerator is for those who are thinking about starting their own business but are still exploring, already have an idea, or have even launched and want to take their venture further. In the incubation programme, you will learn the basics of business and meet inspiring people through workshops and networking sessions. In the acceleration programme with mentoring, you can take your business further with the support of experienced mentors.
Those who already have customers and need funding for growth can try their luck by presenting their business to investors at NEWTON University Angels.
You can apply to the Accelerator with a project from any industry (except weapons and gambling). We reserve the right to make the final decision on whether your project is suitable for acceleration and participation in the programme.

For students, graduates, and members of the NEWTON Family. But those who are not yet part of the NEWTON Family can also try their luck. From 2025, several spots in the NEWTON Business Accelerator will be open to applicants who are not studying at or have not graduated from NEWTON University. For these participants, there is a participation fee.

The NEWTON Business Accelerator runs from October to April and concludes with a Demo Day, where the accelerated projects are presented to mentors and investors.
The application deadline is 10 October 2025. The official launch of the 5th edition of the NEWTON Business Accelerator will take place in Prague on 20 October and in Brno on 22 October 2025.
For NEWTON University students and members of the NEWTON Family (students, graduates, and staff), participation is free of charge. For those who are not students or members of the NEWTON Family, participation in NEWTON Business Accelerator 5.0 (the fifth edition) is subject to a one-off fee of CZK 10,000 (approx. 406 EUR). This fee must be paid before the start, no later than 10 October 2025, based on the invoice you will receive if you are accepted into the programme.
Yes, you can apply to the NEWTON Business Accelerator as an individual or as a team.
All events and consultations will take place either online or offline, based on agreements with the mentors and participants of the NEWTON Business Accelerator.
