Who is NEWTON University Angels for?
What kind of project can I submit?
Any idea that makes sense – from an app to a product or service. We don’t support weapons, gambling, or adult entertainment. Local or smaller projects are welcome too.
How long does the process take?
Roughly one month from application to investor pitch. If selected, contract arrangements take 1–2 more months. Our investment horizon is 5–7 years.
Do I have to go through an accelerator first?
No. If you know what you’re doing and have something to show, you don’t need a stamp from an accelerator. What you need is growth – and that’s where we can help.
Who can apply?
Anyone with a business plan, the ambition to secure investment, and the drive to start their own business.
We have a product but no revenue. Does it make sense to apply?
Yes, if you’re building something that has the potential to shake up the market. In the early stage, we don’t expect millions, but we want to see a clear direction, a sharp team, and validation that someone actually wants it. Without movement, though, it won’t work. Having something is not enough – you need to be actively doing something with it.
Will we get support besides the money?
That’s the point. Anyone can give you money. We get in the trenches with you – offering contacts, strategy, and access to top people.
