Vladimír Borský is a police veteran who ended his career at the Police Education and Training Department as a professional education methodologist and member of a working group focused on implementing artificial intelligence into police processes. He is currently the head of the Competence Development Center at NEWTON University and also the project manager for the digitization, hybridization, and internationalization of teaching. He has been teaching since 2014 and, outside of academia, he is the chairman of the non-profit organization Neodkládej to, z. s., which helps victims of domestic violence, and is also a prevention specialist for the E-Bezpečí project. Vláďa is a graduate of NU, which allows him to see things from the students' perspective and understand what they need most.
