Prof. M.A. Dagmar Cagáňová, PhD. serves as Vice-Rector for Internationalisation at NEWTON University, as well as Chair of the General Summit Smart City 360°, co-founder of the European Alliance for Innovation in Slovakia, and Professor of Economics and Business Management. She is a member of the International Advisory Board of Danubius University, a former member of the Management Committee of E-COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology), a member of the Executive Board of the Danubius Academic Consortium (Academic Network for Integral Innovation), a member of iATDi (International Association for Technological Development and Innovations), Vice-Chair of the Cultural and Educational Grant Agency (Committee 3), and a former member of the Accreditation Commission of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic. Prof. Cagáňová previously worked at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava as a research fellow, as the first Vice-Dean for Strategic Development and International Relations, Vice-Dean for International Relations and International Projects, and as Ambassador for International Relations at the Institute of Industrial Engineering and Management. She also served as Vice-Dean for International Projects at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava, and as Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Zielona Góra in Poland. Her research interests, expertise, and international collaborations focus primarily on intercultural and innovation management, managerial skills, communication in management and marketing, international marketing, international relations and diversity, mobility and smart cities, and gender diversity. She has served on numerous editorial boards, co-edited special issues (MONET, WINET), organised and chaired numerous national and international summits and conferences, and has been involved in more than 55 domestic and international projects as project leader and team member. Prof. Cagáňová has received awards including: Best Habilitation Thesis (Selected Aspects of Multicultural Issues in Industrial Enterprises in the Slovak Republic, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology, Slovak University of Technology in Trnava, 2011), Best Researcher at the Institute of Industrial Engineering and Management, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (2013), a Letter of Appreciation from the Technical University of Vienna for active involvement in FIBAA accreditation within the “Professional MBA in Automotive Industry” project, a Letter of Appreciation from the French Ambassador H.E. Ch. Leonzi for active contribution to the Smart City project, and a Letter of Appreciation from the Taiwanese Ambassador H.E. L. Tseng for organising high-level meetings between Taiwanese, Ukrainian, and Slovak universities as part of the Smart City agenda. To date, Prof. Cagáňová has published more than 400 publications, 7 scientific monographs, 17 journal articles, 89 articles indexed in WOS and 131 in SCOPUS, with over 800 citations (359 indexed in WOS and SCOPUS), an h-index of 12 in WOS and 14 in SCOPUS.
