Make the Most of Your Studies

During my studies at NEWTON University, I founded my own brand and greatly appreciated being able to apply what I was learning straight into practice. I valued the approach of the lecturers, who drew on their own real business experience. This made the theory much easier to grasp and transfer into practice – not only during my studies, but also for the future. Overall, I cannot praise enough the attitude of everyone at NEWTON – from professors to the student services team. The support students receive here is truly above standard.

Although NEWTON is a private university with just a twenty-year history, its graduates are already becoming some of the country’s most influential figures. One of them is Petr Hobža, who runs the company PETR HOBŽA with his brother – the producer of the popular Strážnické potato crisps.

I value my studies at NEWTON University very highly. The school provided me not only with in-depth theoretical knowledge, but also with practical skills and tools that I could immediately apply in real-life situations. The interdisciplinary approach and the emphasis on connecting theory with practice prepared me for complex and demanding tasks in the field of leadership and management. The support from lecturers and access to a wide range of resources and literature enabled me to carry out thorough and high-quality research, which was also reflected in my thesis. I am grateful for the opportunities that studying at NEWTON University has given me and I believe this experience will help me succeed in my professional career.

As a manager with many years of experience in international companies, I originally joined NEWTON University mainly for the degree and to place my practical experience within a theoretical framework. However, during my studies, I discovered it gave me much more. I gained new perspectives on topics I thought I already knew, enhanced my competencies, met fantastic people among both professors and classmates, and thanks to all of this, I was able to reduce stress and manage my managerial role more effectively.
