Stories of our students
Erasmus allowed me to live my French dream…
Thanks to our university, I got the opportunity to travel to a country whose lifestyle I had always dreamed of exploring. I spent one semester in France, in the historically rich and incredibly beautiful city of Lyon.
It’s well known that Erasmus brings valuable experience, new connections, and language improvement — and it’s absolutely true.
During my “French era,” I was able to dive deep into the local culture and history, meet people from all over the world, and compare different systems and ways of thinking. I shared my own experiences and, of course, many unforgettable moments. The more I learned about other cultures, the more my perspective on the world and how it works expanded.

At times, it wasn’t easy. But only challenges and difficult decisions can truly move us to a new level — both personally and professionally. Stepping out of my comfort zone and embracing growth, discovering how life works from different perspectives, was the best decision I ever made. It helped me build strong, lasting friendships across the globe — and most importantly, I became friends with myself.
We worked on a project that truly came to life, which meant it wasn’t just boring theory. I learned French from scratch, adding another language to my list. And I even discovered the direction I want to take in the future — something I wish for each and every one of you.
