Learn to use AI tools at university correctly and effectively!

This interactive 90-minute workshop focuses on the proper and ethical use of artificial intelligence tools in an academic environment. Students will learn how to work with selected tools in compliance with citation standards. The workshop will cover practical study scenarios—from information search and synthesis to writing, text revision, and working with multimedia materials.

Program:

  • Introduction to AI and key terminology
  • Chatbots, prompting, and self-prompting
  • Multimodal demonstrations (text/image/data)
  • Deep research – how to conduct structured research
  • Practical exercises and feedback consultations

  • Practical tips and shortcuts for everyday work

It is important to bring your laptop to the workshop.

The workshop will be led by pplk. v. v. PhDr. Ing. Vladimír Borský, MBA, LL.M., MSc., Project Manager for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence at NEWTON University and Head of the Competence Development Center.
