Yvona Dicker is a lecturer, teacher trainer and methodologist with extensive experience in English language education across Europe, Africa and Asia. She currently teaches Business English and Critical Thinking at NEWTON University and serves as a Team Leader on the British Council’s STELIER Project in Rwanda, where she mentors and supports pre-service and in-service teachers.
Over the past 15 years, she has taught and trained in a wide range of contexts, from legal English for the Judicial Academy of the Slovak Republic to teacher training in Tunisia and summer school programmes in the UK. Her experience includes leading international teacher development projects, supporting non-profit organisations and presenting at professional conferences and CPD events.
She is passionate about teacher development, intercultural communication and empowering educators to deliver high-quality language education. She speaks English fluently and has professional working experience in Czech and Spanish.
