Lecture topic: Try before you’re ready: What no one told us at secondary school
Barča and Radim are students at NEWTON University and co-founders of the startup Zabydli. Between them, they have worked 18 different jobs and projects. They started out as a barista and a car mechanic, later progressing to project manager and sales representative roles. Today, they are building their own startups. Some have succeeded, others haven’t, and it’s the latter that have taught them the most.
In their talk, they will show why it pays to try things before you feel ready, how to recognise an opportunity that might not look like one at first, and why failure isn’t the end, but a valuable learning experience.
