Freedom and democracy are not just words on paper. They shape our everyday lives and the decisions we make. How can we turn them into action, and why is it important to actively live by them?
A few surveys, data points and numbers, but above all, plenty of experiences from young people. We will look at how engaged they are and why they often describe themselves as “not involved”. We will introduce the approaches of Díky, že můžem, an organisation that has long been working to amplify the voice of the younger generation and motivate young people to take an active part in civic life and democratic processes. Dorotea and Veronika are behind the Díky, že můžem Academy, which helps young people make a difference in their local communities and the world around them.
