Pavel Semerád is a respected academic and expert in accounting and taxation. At NEWTON University, he teaches Management Accounting and Controlling and serves as an examiner for state final examinations. At the same time, he serves as Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs and Head of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme at VŠ Sting. In his research, he connects classical economics with visionary topics. In addition to tax fraud and electronic sales records, he actively focuses on the taxation of robot labour, taxes on sugar-sweetened beverages, and the economic aspects of space mining. He regularly presents the results of his work at professional conferences and is the author of dozens of academic publications. He also places strong emphasis on supporting students. He is the author of a blog and creator of the podcast O studiu na vysoké škole, where he has been sharing his insights from the academic environment since 2017.
