Talk topic: How not to become a slave to your activities
In the whirlwind of responsibilities, hobbies and other activities, it can be difficult not to get swept away, stay true to yourself and maintain the energy and enthusiasm to keep going. Setting boundaries, finding a healthy pace and knowing how to say “no” to more and more opportunities (which will inevitably come your way, trust me) is just as important as having the drive and determination to take on everything you want to do.
It is all about balance – between what is expected of you, what you want and, most importantly, what you need. When deadlines and to-do lists start taking priority over your personal life, it is time to stop and ask yourself: What can I do to make sure I don’t become a slave to my own activities?
